A small group of CLIP representatives consisting of Karolina Kramarzova, Olga Zimmermannova, Jan Zuna and Jan Trka attended the 4th annual German-Czech-Polish meeting. This meeting is connecting lectures from the leading specialists in the field (for example, this year G. Henz, a legend of paediatric haematology, U. Creutzig, D. Reinhard and A. Claviez), with selected lectures and posters from young doctors and scientists.
Dr. Jan Trka contributed with his favourite topic „From the prenatal origin to the relapse in the acute paediatric leukaemia“. Both Karolina and Olga successfully contributed to the discussion with their lectures about the importance of WT1 gene expression in paediatric haemotological malignancies and observation of the process of slowly growing leukaemia. Among all the lecturers, Karolina won the 1st place, received a certificate, a flower and a small financial award. Congratulations!
